Ivory Spring, designing a pattern really isn’t that difficult to be honest. I don’t use any software, I just simplify the outline to a point where I can find continuous lines through the whole piece. Once I find a couple then I can break it down into smaller pieces to find the piecing order.

Once you try it a couple of times it gets easier.
