As usual, I’m late to the party, but I just wanted to tell you how darling your paper piecing patterns are. I tried the gnome this afternoon. Adorable and easy. Thank you for sharing.
So glad you found me! Please share your projects on the gallery!
Just love your piecing, especially your little gnomes, they are to die for.
wow! I love paper piecing! thanks for the free patterns!
Loved your presentation at the Vancouver Quilters Guild meeting tonight. You are inspiring! Thank you, Barb
Thank you so much for the Gnomlette pattern! I love it!
Thanks for the pumpkin paper piece, I’m going to try and be industrious and get something done for halloween.
Oh….I love the witch! I *cannot* wait to try making her! Thank you for sharing these.
Just wanted to say thank you for the free patterns. They’re great and I’m going to print out right now.
Thanks for these patterns. They are so cute, and I can’t wait to try them!
The Canucks pattern is amazing. I think I’ll give the “rookie” one a try! Thank you so much for sharing this.
Go Canucks Go!!!
Wow your blocks are incredible. I must try, although I haven’t done much paper piecing. I love your blog.
Just found your site. I am looking forward to making some of these designs and more to come!
I love your paper piecing patterns. The paper lanterns I saw during the Garden Party by sewhooked. Very cute! I also love your Singer design and will find a way to use that very soon!
Thank you…..love these patterns!!!
Thank you for the adorable patterns – I made the hedgie yesterday! I posted it to my blog today and linked back to you – I also uploaded it to your Flickr group 🙂
I learned paper piecing using your great pattern for the Singer Featherweight. Thanks! I posted pictures on my latest blog post, and included links back to your blog. Thanks again!
Thank you for these fun patterns!
I wanted to ask about some of your amazing pp patterns,
Thank you
Canucks Canucks Canucks!!! Sonja, I always thought your work was amazing! This is just the Cherry on the icing of your creative cake! ( i was so excited while typing I had to go back and correct 8 words!)
Thanks so much for the Jack-O-lantern pattern. Best one I’ve seen so far! Adele
your blocks are just too cute. I love the hedgehog. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sonja – I love your Halloween Kitty pattern, but I have a question. I understand how it’s in different sections (A,B,C,D), but what about sections Ba and Bb? Do I treat them any differently from the other sections? I noticed the dotted line between Ba and Bb is smaller, so I wondered if I should do something different. Thanks for any info – I love your patterns!
Hi Sally! Sections Ba and Bb need to be cut apart along that smaller dashed line. Then sew each up separately, then sew them back together along that same line. Then you can treat that as section B. Once the other sections are sewn up, you sew section A to B, add C then D. Happy sewing!
I was reading another blog that I follow and saw that your free patterns are being sold at
http://www.losangelesneedlework.com/
It appears that they are taking designers free patterns and selling them as their own — just a heads-up. I knew I had seen the hedgehog before, so I searched and found you. (love hedgehogs…)
Thank you for the free patterns. I love the hedgehog. I have a nephew that has one. Thought that this would be cute to put on a baby quilt for when their little boy is due.
I love your designs. Thanks
Stephanie
Cute, cute, cute gnome! Thank you from Patti of the BAQS!
These patterns look like a lot of fun. They will be my next challenge.
Love your patterns, thank you for your generosity!
Hi there, I am sure I commented before but just letting you know I always enjoy your pattern ideas.
I made the witch and the kitty. I will photo them and send them to you.
I am hoping once I get mom and dad settled in their fancy retirement extravaganza
I will make some of these for their front door of their apartment.
Love always, rosemary
I love the Canucks one. I live on the island and even though I don’t like hockey it’s still nice to see some local pride.
I am working on the halloween kitty and having troubles, can someone email me on the order in which to go.
I always find that having a second copy of the pattern to use as a map helps me sew things back in the right order. My patterns are usually pieced together in numerical order and then alphabetical order. Let me know if you need more help! Xo Sonja
Thank you for the free downloads to try out. I love paper piecing and I can’t wait for morning to try yours.
Do you sell the modern batik table runner pattern?
Oh I’m sorry, that’s not my design.
I sure miss you blogging. I made a quilt for my guild’s Black & White plus One challenge this year. I took it this past weekend to a vintage sewing event and lots of the ladies are asking for the Featherweight pattern. I’ve sent them all a link to your free pattern pages. I posted a photo of the finished quilt on my blog on Wed. Feb 26, 2020.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You’re a doll for doing these, AND keeping them free, and the links open~~~too often, this many years later, the links are dead and duds. And the patterns are a delight! Witch and pumpkin, here I come! ❤
