La Bella Luna

Here she is, La Bella Luna from Saturday night. By the time I stepped out onto the balcony to lasso this beauty she was way up in the sky looking as she always does once a month. Although I must admit she was particularly breathtaking….
I think I needed to have caught her at as she rose from the horizon to fully appreciate the awe of this rare Supermoon.
But I think this portrait will do just fine until my next chance, 50 years from now.

Very cool.
It really was beautiful, wasn’t it? I kept thinking about the old grandpa in “Moonstruck” encouraging his dogs to howl at the bella luna! “See la bella luna, why don’t you howl?”
