The Great Apron Extravaganza!

February 23, 2011

Hear ye hear ye! Gather ’round, for the Great Apron Extravaganza is about to begin..

Starting March 1, 2011 the illustrious Sonja will attempt to actually sew her Emmaline apron!
{Even though she’s up to her eyeballs in time sensitive projects, this apron has been torturing her for months}

If you have an unfinished, abandoned, or not- yet-attempted apron project taunting you from the depths of your closet, dig it out and join in creating your Apronic Masterpiece! Any apron will do!

This mass sew along will at this moment be declared a LOW PRESSURE EVENT!

That’s right, sewing is supposed to be fun, so Sonja will be slowly plugging along posting one easy goal per week. So for you sudden eager beavers who manage to get your apron done long before me, you can feel good about being way ahead of the pack for once and not beating yourself up for lagging behind. Cause that sucks.

Grab that long forgotten apron project and join the group in the most easy going, low-pressure sew-along in existence! Our only goal is to have a lot of fun while making our aprons. And maybe swap some fun little kitchen projects on the side?

At some point soon I’ll post up the Group linky badges for you to pass around.

**And THANKS so so much for your awesome and kind comments about my first vlog post **HUGS** I’ve been grinning ear to ear all day mostly cause I’m relieved I didn’t bore you all to death –**

    Sounds great! I don’t think I’ll have the time to participate, but I’ll certainly use your aprontastic inspiration whenever I get around to making my Emmeline apron!

    Amy it’s awesome to have you on board! I cook but I have no aprons and a lot of grease stained clothes LOL!

    Holly we’ll be cheering you on anyway, Mommas need all the support they can get, esp when new little ones pop up 🙂

    I have the Emmaline pattern, too, that I have been meaning to make forever for both me and my mil. I would love to have an extra impetus to get started!
