Code Cute, Code Cute!

I mean honestly, could Gnomlette get any cuter? A polkadotted hat!! And the striped mushroom stem….and the grass! Look at that grass!!
This completely adorable mini quilt was made by Marilyn who blogs at Marilyn Butler. She’s quite a good quilter with an amazing taste in fabric. You should pop over and check out her work!
Marilyn is another participant in the Sew Connected 2 Swap over on Flickr. I am totally in love with the blocks she’s received back so far:

Yep, see those empty spots? I’m totally late in sending mine back to her. I have my patterns picked out and everything nearly ready to go. Soon Marilyn I promise!
Well I actually have some neat site news for once..
After the last Gnomlette sighting I decided that it was high time for a flickr gallery of completed Artisania quilt blocks. I know that all of the free patterns have been downloaded countless times from all over the world and I keep wondering how they’re turning out?
So, if you look over on the right —————————————->
You should see a link over to the gallery where you can post photos of your completed Artisania pattern blocks. Already some people are posting their projects and I would love to see yours to!

Uh oh..

That doesn’t sound good.
Oh and this doesn’t look so good..

Please, please tell me the contents are ok…

And the quilting goddess smiles benevolently down from the heavens as she once again saves a precious swap package, brimming with expensive and gorgeous fabrics, from certain postal demise as it treks across continents and massive bodies of water to arrive safely into the eagerĀ hands of their anxiously awaiting recipient.
Tine, your block is brewing in my crazy noggin…
Care to peek at her other blocks sewn by the amazing group at SewConnected 2?
