Here’s the boat and an overall-ish shot:

The crab still needs some legs, the octopus a face, and I’m still planning on more seaweed, texture and sundries on the sand, some little people fishing on the boat and perhaps a dolphin and pufferfish. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out! The baby was born last week, a healthy 8lb baby boy. I figure if it’s received within a month of the birth it still counts! I’ve decided that this isn’t a project you can really rush, you know?

The visit with the family was fabulous! If you ever find yourself in Alberta you really must make your way to the Royal Tyrell Dinosaur Museum in Drum Heller. WOW!! Talk about a world class museum! It’s incredibly well done and surprisingly reasonably priced. For 5 adults and 5 children we paid $60. Not bad eh?

Here I am with my little bro:

And the drive there was just gorgeous!

So tomorrow – backpacks x 4. Catch ya later!
